What are Cyber-Threats, Cyber-Attacks and how to defend our Systems

Abstract

Technology is altering our brains, and the generational divide between the "digital immigrants" and the "young 
natives" is widening, according to a study published on the UCLA website. (Gary Small, MD) Technology has 
grown in importance to the point that it dominates practically every aspect of modern life. This includes fields as 
diverse as medicine, education, employment, entertainment, and communication. Attacks directed at computer 
systems or hardware with the intent to do damage to individuals, businesses, or government agencies are sometimes 
referred to as cyber wars or cyber attacks.
