Abstract

In this study, the sub-grid was tailored to an object's shape as we built the ALE seamless immersed boundary
technique (ALE SIBM) with an overset grid system. We covered the effectiveness of the current approach in this
paper. The ALE SIBM is a technique that effectively examines flow around moving objects on the Cartesian grid
by combining the SIBM and the arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian (ALE) method. To effectively perform flow
analysis with several moving objects, the ALE SIBM is only applied to the sub-grid in the overset grid system of
the ALE SIBM. On a Cartesian overset grid, the sub-grid typically has the shape of a rectangular area. However,
depending on the object's shape, it could create an area that is superfluous for flow analysis. Therefore
